Domo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar: An Entertaining Dining Experience

We had dinner last night. Very friendly and food was cooked great. Great place for big groups ,. Comparable to Daruma in Jacksonville.

Pleasant, casual dining experience. The entire facility could use a bit more cleaning and a personal touch. Signs should not be hand written on scratch paper. Based on the cost of food, payroll, and administration, some of their profit should be invested in upkeep and general improvements. The staff was good but the cook needs to refrain from using profanity in the presence of children. There were minors at my table and some of the language in humor was inappropriate. The wait staff and hostess staff were nice and provided good customer service. The food was okay but the Tempura items were too greasy. Proper straining could have prevented that. I ordered salad with ginger dressing and asked that the excess water be drained off before bringing it out; that request was not honored. Wet food drips and I didn't want it to spill onto my clothes. Culinary training could aid in presentation of menu items. It was an "ok" experience but I would not recommend this venue until improvements are made.

I went with my family celebrate My Baby ‘s sixth birthday. The food was delicious. Servers was nice and the cook was very nice as well. I don’t have any complaints. I went on a Sunday afternoon. I was surprised that it wasn’t busy at all. Everything was delicious. I will definitely go again as soon as I get a chance.

This place is always good, noticed they are serving a lot smaller portions and raised their prices. I usually have left overs to take to work for lunch but the last 2 times we went I didn't. The cooks are always entertaining tho.

Had a birthday to celebrate and since Domo offers a free dinner to the person celebrating that day our group of 5 made reservations and arrived at 5 pm and seated right away. Drink orders were taken as well as dinner orders. Why 4 ? Let's start with the soup...very little of it and warm not hot. Salad...hand full of lettuce only. Now the show was excellent with plenty of action and excitement for our granddaughter. Food was good but needs more vegetables as opposed to all that rice and noodles. Steak was cooked to desired rare as was seafood items. Overall I cannot go 5 but it was close and with a few improvements could climb that final hill.

We always enjoy eating here for a birthday meal. If you buy two meals at regular price you can get your meal for free in your birthday (be prepared to show your ID!). Filet and Chicken were awesome...great fried rice. Tommy was our chef, he did a wonderful job!
